Manic Music Productions in association with the Riverhead Theatre are delighted to premiere this funny, touching, and exciting, award winning musical by LPS’ own Jed Spittle. “Dressing Rooms” was Riverhead theatre’s scratch night 2024 winner and deals with adult themes including Infidelity, narcissism, and grief.
The Tragi-comic new musical, set in various dressing rooms across the country, charts the love triangle between actress, Clare Malone, her older theatre producer husband, Bill Taylor and young jack-the-lad actor Gavin Graham. It’s the spring of 2019 and Clare’s hen night but “The Industry” suspects her marriage is one of convenience. Later, when Bill casts a reality TV star, ahead of Clare, the cracks begin to show.
Will touring together throw Clare into the arms of Gavin or is the marriage stronger than the world suspects and how will the tidal wave of a global pandemic alter perspectives?
