BEN DUARRI
The featured artist for January is BEN DUARRI, aka The Screenprince.
Ben’s interest in painting started as a child, living in Lincolnshire with his mother who was a landscape artist. He studied printmaking at the University of Brighton, after which he spent the next two decades living and working as a screenprinter on various projects and commissions. This was also when he developed his technique of combining screen prints embellished with pen & ink and paint & brushes.
Since returning to the county of his childhood, Ben has renewed his passion for painting, depicting modern world landscapes and cloudscapes inspired by the vastness and colours of the Lincolnshire Wolds and coast.
