Synopsis
Alex and Rupert aren't a conventional match, but a caffeinated meeting on the Underground ignites a spark. Skip forward to them fighting over baby names, nursery colours and ways to save money. All the signs of a normal family in waiting.
Then Alex goes into labour, their baby is born still – and their world implodes. What follows is a window into how a couple find the strength to move forward, the will to stay together, and the determination to keep alive the memory of their child.
Anything is Possible if You Think About It Hard Enough takes us to the depths of grief to find hope, and to the edge of insanity to find reason. There is humour, too, in the most unexpected places.
Cordelia O'Neill's play was first presented by Small Things Theatre at Southwark Playhouse, London, in September 2021, and won the Best New Play award at the 2022 Offies
Roles Available
Rupert (M) - Playing age 20-40
Alex (F) - Playing age 20-40

Important Information
The creative team are hoping to have 2 casts to perform 3 shows each. 1 cast of playing age 20-30 and 1 cast of 30-40. This will depend on the turnout at the auditions.
Due to the way in which the script is written there will be a necessity for cast members to be off book before rehearsals commence. There are 9 weeks from the audition to the first rehearsal in which to accomplish this and you will be issued with a full script as soon as the show has been cast.
We would encourage all prospective cast members to do some research into this play as it does contain some sensitive and emotive subject matter.
If you have any further questions in regards to this show please do contact the director Jamie Harris at jamieharris807@googlemail.com or call the theatre on 01507 600350 and they will get a message to him.
