By WS Gilbert & Arthur Sullivan

The dragoons love the maidens …
The maidens love Bunthorne …
Bunthorne loves Patience …
Patience loves Grosvenor …
Grosvenor loves …… himself!

For their annual Summer visit to Louth the New London Opera Group are delighted to present a new production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s hilarious satire on artistic pretension, love and the pursuit of fame.
Patience tells the story of two poets who are rivals for the attentions of the eponymous
dairymaid. Since its première in 1881, Patience has remained popular and relevant, even though the aesthetic movement of Oscar Wilde and his circle has disappeared. This new production, from the team that brought the recent successful productions of The Yeomen of the Guard, The Grand Duke and Trial by Jury promises a wonderful evening of music, mirth and midsummer madness!
