The featured artist for March is Deborah Geddes.
Deborah is a Louth-based artist who graduated from Nottingham University in 2015 with a BA Hons in Fine Art. The main body of her work explores the impact of moving something or someone from its original place.
“I begin with street maps of everywhere I have ever lived, abstracting them until the familiar becomes unfamiliar, reflecting how continual images over time distort the memory of past places and events. My latest work explores the interpretation of human relationships”
Deborah likes working with oil pastels but also uses graphite powder, inks, acrylics and watercolour. She likes experimenting with colour, drawing inspiration from nature and the landscapes that surround us.
